Mike Bailey
Left SCG in 1957 after retakes as a complete failure! Later joined the Sheffield City Police and in '62, the RAF Dental Branch, first as a DSA then as a Practice Manager in dental centres and Hospital Oral Surgery Depts. I have served from Germany to Cyprus and Singapore.
Played every sport, scuba dived extensively and enjoyed the hills. After a heart attack I left in 94 as a Warrant Officer, spent a couple of disgruntled years as a civil servant then retired. Now I paint with watercolours, flyfish and shoot and enjoy being a very, very active conservationist.
I live in Sawtry, west Cambridgeshire,
with my wife of 38 years, Janet. We have a son and daughter as well as
7 grandchildren and 2 labradors. I sometimes prefer the labradors!!
