I used to be called Janette Fairclough but I've been Jan Auckland for a couple of decades now. Seem to have spent most of my life in nursing but as retirement beckons I'm toying with a PGCE on the proceeds of the retirement lump sum - did a degree in literature for fun recently with the OU -and graduated with first class honours last year - I Doubt that anyone who taught me will believe it! 

 

Current obsessions include theatre and running but real ale, rock music and Sheffield United remain lifelong passions
